The Pumpkin Patch

This last Saturday we were able to take Griffen to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. It was so much fun! I hadn't been since my second year of teaching on a field trip and Scott hadn't been in several years either. My parents went with us to help capture as many pictures as possible.

If Scott were telling this he would say "the event was like a well-oiled machine." We tried to time our trip around Griffen's morning nap and to get as cool weather as possible. We were at the pumpkin patch when the gates opened at 9am. Griffen enjoyed every moment of it. He didn't know where to look. It was so fun to see things through his eyes and enjoy everything from the rows and rows of pumpkins to the house made of pumpkins. Here are just a few of the 100+ pictures that we took in the 45 minutes or so that we were there. :-) It was a short trip but we enjoyed every minute of it. We know that next year Griffen will want to be running around touching every pumpkin so we enjoyed this more laid back trip this year.

After all of our fun...we headed home and Griffen slept for 3 hours! He obviously enjoyed his time at the pumpkin patch, so much so that he was worn out completely. We are looking forward to many more memories there each year.
